KW Synchro Club’s volunteers and coaches were able to provide our High Performance Team with an amazing opportunity to learn about synchro, as they participated in a training day with the National ‘A’ Team at the Centre of Excellence in Montreal on the Family Day long weekend.  The HP Team and coaches spent a morning practice in the pool with a group of athletes who have achieved the highest skill level of synchronized swimming, and who represent Canada on an international stage.  This was an amazing chance for our KW swimmers to see just how far they can go in this sport if they have the drive and desire to work hard for their goals.  This weekend was inspiring for our athletes, and a great learning opportunity for the coaches who also attended the practice and received feedback from National Team Coaches Meng Chen and Lyne Piché.

Thank-you to the parents and volunteers who made this opportunity possible, and thank-you to Synchro Canada, the National Team Coaches, and the swimmers on the National Team who welcomed us to their pool and acted as mentors to the next generation of Synchro Stars!
