Hilton Invitational

Way to go KW on a FANTASTIC weekend at the Hilton Worldwide Invitational!

The lime green was looking GREAT in the stands, swimmers had a BLAST, and we brought home some SERIOUS hardware too! (2 bronze medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 gold medals!!!)

Congratulations to KW Synchro’s Jordan Shantz, who competed this weekend at the Canadian National Qualifiers in Calgary. Jordan competed in the 13-15 FINA category, finishing 13th in the country in figures, and 10th place in the solo competition. With her performance, Jordan qualifies to move on to the National Championships (Espoirs) in May. Way to go Jordan!

Congratulations to the KW Swimmers and Coaches recognized at the City of Kitchener Athletic Awards Banquet!

Incredible Opportunity for KW Athletes

KW Synchro had an INCREDIBLE weekend as we took a bus-full of athletes, coaches and parents to Montreal for the weekend. KW attended the Olympic Send-Off Show and got an exclusive preview of the routines competing at the London Olympics in August, which were AMAZING!

After the show, the KW athletes donned their bathing suits and hopped into the pool for a private session with the National B Team, and then an autograph session with both the B team and the Olympic Team!

Our swimmers got an opportunity to see some pretty cool skills from the National Team members, and they also got to show off some of their own moves, impressing the National Team members and coaches!

Walking on Sunshine!

KW Synchro’s smallest swimmers brought home gold this weekend at the Ontario Age Group Championships. The 10&Under “Sunshine” team won their event by a full point-and-a-half, finishing on top of all 10&Under teams in the province – way to go girls!

The swimmers were very excited to receive their medals from four members of Team Canada’s Olympic Synchro Team (and get their picture taken with them!). Synchro Canada also posted a great tweet about our 10&Unders just hours after the competition – check it out here!

Keep working hard ladies, maybe one day it will be you handing out the medals and wearing the red and white!
